Care Guide

Kovastra garments are made from 100% ring-spun combed cotton. A little care goes a long way — follow these simple steps to keep them looking and feeling great wash after wash.

Washing

• Machine wash cold at 30°C or below
• Wash inside out to protect prints, embroidery, and colours
• Use a mild, colour-safe detergent
• Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — they break down cotton fibres over time
• Wash with similar colours to prevent colour transfer

Drying

• Do not tumble dry — air dry flat or on a hanger
• Keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent fading
• Reshape the garment while damp to maintain its original fit

Ironing

• Iron on low-to-medium heat (cotton setting)
• Always iron inside out
• Do not iron directly over printed or embroidered areas — use a pressing cloth

Storage

• Fold neatly and store in a cool, dry place
• Avoid hanging for extended periods — it may stretch the neckline
• Cedar balls or sachets can help keep stored clothes fresh
